Zack & Haley

Zack and Haley’s Ashton Cole wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and they’re such an amazing couple. Everything from the bow on the dress from Tiffinie Bleu Bridals and the gorgeous Indigo Floral Studio flowers all over the place to their invitation suite from Truly engaging was thought through carefully and turned out perfectly. The wedding day had so many moments and I think one of our favorites was shortly after the first look with her Bridesmaids when they met near the ceremony area and exchanged private vows and it was such a great emotional moment early on in the day after everyone finished getting ready. Not very long after, the guests were showing up for the ceremony and it was time for us to get into place for the ceremony.

The ceremony was gorgeous with the sun giving off beautiful light through the trees covering the ceremony and tears were all over the place when Haley started coming down the aisle. Zack was so happy and held back tears most of the time and during the ceremony they exchanged their vows and rings then sealed it with a kiss then leaving the ceremony as the Grays. From there we took a dive straight into family formals, wedding party photos and then romantics of the newlyweds. After some gorgeous sunset photos and videos, we got them back to the lineup for everyone to be introduced into the reception. As everyone danced or drank their way into the reception, Zack and Haley started their first dance and then going to the Mother-Daughter and Mother-Son dances.

Throughout the rest of the reception, the dance floor was pretty much full thanks to Mike from M&S Mobile Productions and all of the fun guests of the wedding day. Zack and Haley also did their cake cutting, champagne toasts all over, took fun photo booth photos with a ton of guests, danced some more, did their bouquet and garter tosses and then ended the night with a pho-exit with sparklers and then running back into the dance floor afterwards to bring everyone out for even more dancing which is about the time that we packed up to head home. We’re so excited to witness more of the story of #growinggraytogether and bright future of this beautiful family.

Tyler & Sheri

Tyler and Sheri’s wedding day in Cleveland, GA at The Cottage Vineyard and Winery was such a beautiful way to start a Fall Monday morning recently. Not only did we get to see the sunrise in the North Georgia mountains, we got to celebrate their love and spend time with them making art in a beautiful location which we of course enjoy doing.

The day started off in a large cabin rental where everyone got ready with the beautiful mountain sunrise view as hair, makeup and getting dressed were all taking place. We also set up flat lay details on the deck and around the time of the bride finishing getting ready and into her dress, we left to get to the venue ahead of her and setup our extra camera on a tripod quickly and put a mic on Tyler. The mountain views backing the ceremony were gorgeous and it was such an intimate wedding on the double tiered deck of the Cottage Vineyard and Winery. Tyler had a huge smile when he saw Sheri come around the corner and everyone enjoyed the beautiful ceremony. One of their first acts together was to take communion before their first kiss as husband and wife. From there, we took everyone up the hill just a bit for the formal group photos before walking around the hills of the vineyard taking the couples romantic portraits. It was a shorter wedding day for us but, absolutely gorgeous the entire time and also ended with us being able to swing over to Helen for lunch where we ran into some of the wedding guests before doing another session later that afternoon. We are so happy for these two and know that the future holds a ton of beautiful moments for them.

Joey & Victoria

Joey and Victoria had such a gorgeous Fall wedding day at Ashton Cole Place in Thomson, GA full of some of the biggest smiles, tears and these two just know how to have a good time. You can see their rooftop engagement session here.

The day started off with details and some amazing game day entrances with the guy showing up. Everyone started getting ready, the girls popped a bottle of champagne for mimosas and enjoyed them around the bridal suite in their robes while the guys were starting to get ready. Before long at all, the guys were ready and so I took them near a fence line for their group photos in the shade there while Morgan and Chastity finished up the dress and girls getting ready. Once the girls were ready, they took part in a tradition we had never seen before called the cake pull where the girls pulled fortunes from the cake by pulling a ribbon. Then we had Joey in place for their first touch and reading vows to each other so we got them in place and then enjoyed being a part of the beautiful moment. They were tucked away and guests started showing up which led straight into the ceremony where all of their family and friends got to witness the tears of joy from Joey when seeing Victoria for the first time but also the beautiful dress and cape. During the ceremony they exchanged vows, rings and took part in pouring unity sand followed by sealing the deal with their first kiss as husband and wife. We then hopped straight into family and wedding party photos while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour followed by then their couples portraits around the property to then get them in line for their introductions into the reception. They all danced their way into reception which provided a bunch of funny moments and the wedding party lined the dancefloor as the dj announced Mr. and Mrs. Wall straight into their first dance as well as Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances. Dinner time was upon us and everyone got to enjoy Sconyers BBQ (Morgan’s favorite as a side note). After dinner, a few toasts were given which then opened up the dance floor afterwards for the rest of the night to be a joyful party. At one point early into that, they brought out a birthday cake to celebrate both the Bride and Groom’s Grandmother’s birthday that were on that day which is so special. Throughout the night, there was a ton of dancing, the bouquet and garter tosses which were caught by the same couple as well as cake cutting and a bit of moonshine. The night ended for us with a fake glowstick exit where Joey carried Victoria back through to go back into the reception. It was a gorgeous wedding day and we’re so excited for them both and what their future holds as the Wall family.

David & Jennifer

Oh the joy that being able to capture multiple weddings for a family brings to us. We were able to capture Jennifer’s daughter Baylee’s wedding day and it is always such a joy to see the family again on another joyful day like this! This time, instead of Sandersville, we were nearby in Milledgeville at the Dogwood Barn at G5 ranch with the planning by Gigi’s by Grace Ann Designs, gorgeous florals by Mulberry and Magnolia and the catering even woven into David and Jennifer’s story with the ministries they met serving in and what they do for work. It was a perfect start to our Fall season of weddings and full of so much beauty.

The day itself started off with us walking around the venue a bit and then saying hey to everyone inside as well as grabbing some details to photograph. Around the time everyone was getting ready, we helped setup for a special box of Cheerios (he eats a bowl every morning) that was re-sealed with a special prize inside (his customized cufflinks). We then split off to finish up with Jennifer getting ready and then doing group photos before the ceremony. Then the ceremony time came along and the sunset made for absolutely gorgeous light at the waterfront ceremony. It was a lot of fun to see Cody (Baylee’s husband) as one of the flower dudes and having fun with it. Then there was live singing as well as the musical backdrop to Jennifer coming down the aisle to David. During the ceremony, they exchanged vows, tied the rope of three strands and sealed it all with a kiss before excitedly exiting as Mr. and Mrs. Rice officially. From here, we setup to do family photos, wedding party and then explore the property a bit with the newlyweds for their couples portraits and then ended off with her getting her dress bustled a bit so they could enter into the reception for their first dance together. Once they entered into the cheering reception, they started their loving first dance which then led into a few others. They did a Mother-Son dance for David and then a Mother-Son dance for Jennifer and then also, a Father-Daughter in-law dance to end off. The rest of the night was full of delicious food and cheese cake (I know it’s food too but it’s a very special food in my opinion), dancing, fellowship and then ending off the night with a sparkler exit. The Rice family has already been up to doing amazing things but, we know this power couple has even more ahead in the future!
