We had the chance to meet with Tahirah over a zoom meeting just a few months ago and got to get a good idea of their wedding day and learned more about their story. They have been together for 9 years and he proposed on Christmas Day in New Jersey 4 years ago in their home at the time. Now fast forward a few years and wedding plans have had to change and that paved the way for us to meet this wonderful couple.
This session took place at Barnwell State Park in Blackville, SC which was actually planned to go along with their engagement party (which is what the last few photos shows just a little bit of the setup). We had never been to the park so we got their early and explored a little bit since there is a trail along the river behind the building where their party would be held and it turned out to be perfect and within a fairly easy walking distance to the party. We loved this session and getting to see the party starting to kick off on our way out was so cool too. We’re super excited for their wedding day in May and to help these two tie the knot officially!
